Joshua Tree

As our wedding day is quickly approaching I just wanted to recap our amazing adventures over the last month or so. In April we spend a day at Joshua Tree.  It was the most tranquil place I have ever been.  If you are in Souther California, it's defintely a top place to visit.  Here are some of my favorite pictures!

spring adventures with mr. richie

Happy April!
Spring has finalllly sprung, well it was never really winter here in California.  Anyhow, Anthony & I had been having so much fun on the weekends. Life with Anthony is never dual, I feel like we always have something fun going on. Here are some of my (&our) lastest adventures

Bruching in Beverly Hills with my friend Nadia, a few Saturdays ago.  This restaurant is connected to the Tiffany's store on Rodeo...great pato!

Later that Saturday night Anthony & I headed to Malibu for an art show by Jeremiah Redclay & Rich Robinson (of the Black Crowes).  It was a great event, I even ran into a guy that I knew in college, so random considering I went to college at the University of Kentucky (2,200 miles away) and happen to end up at the same art show in Malibu. So random.

Anthony & I

Rich Robinson did a little auotic session at the end of the show...it was great!

Another pic of Anthony & I.

That Saturday morning we woke up early to go test drive Jaguars.  Anthony got invited to this private event to drive all the new 2014 line.  I even got to drive, which was soooo much fun! Here are some pics...

THEN...the fun did not stop there...we went to the California Science Center to see the Space Shuttle Endeavour.  We love going to museums so we had a great time.

We are officially getting married is less than 2 months...time is flying by and the stress is only getting more overwhelming.

Here to 60 days until I'm Mrs. Richie.

Cheers!

March Madness

March has definitely been utter madness and I am not talking about basketball.  I actually haven't watched one basketball game all season...crazy I know, especially being a UK fan.

The first weekend in March we celebrated Nadia's bachelorette party.  Nadia is getting married June 7th as well!  It's so excited, I love all the weddings that are happening.

This past weekend was the Palos Verdes Juniors Spring Gala Fundraiser.  It was held at Trump National Golf Course.  It was quite the night and it was so much fun dressing up. Here are a few pictures from the night...

Happy February!
We may live in Southern California, but it's still winter here.  Which means it's dark at 6 o'clock.  It's not matter where you live in the US you can't escape the horrible day light savings time game.  I just want day light for at least and hour after I'm home from work. 2 hours would be nice...but that hardly happens even in the summer.

This January view does help the winter blues.

When we are not working we do keep ourselves busy.  A few weeks ago Anthony & I took time to visit the Los Angeles County Museum of Art.  We love spending our afternoons like this...

Then we had lunch at Villa Blanca.  This is another restaurant that Lisa Vanderpump owns.  The food was definitely average and not worth the price.  The servers are worse then Sur when it comes to thinking they are more important than the customer.

Then we ended the day in Malibu.  It's always nice watching the sunset at the Malibu pier.

Oh the joys of living in Southern California. There is always fun to be had.

new year's eve...hello 2014

I hate New Years Eve...it's a day that is built up with anticipation.
It never goes as planned.  Next year Anthony & I will be staying at home with champagne and locking the doors. haha

I did looooove my New Years Eve dress.  You actually can't tell from any of these pics but it was backless.  Here are a few pics from the night...

happy 2014!

december in the bluegrass state

I really just want to talk about how much I loved December...well the end of December anyway.
After 6 looooooong months we finally returned to Kentucky for Christmas.

It was so great getting to see our families and friends, especially my sister and all of my bridesmaids!

I have to admit, it was sooooo cold.  I do not miss Kentucky winters, especially the crazy one they are having now. Wow!

Our course Anthony literally snuck in a Bourbon Distillerly Tour. I didn't mind though.

Some of my favorite Lexington Ladies. (P.S. LA girls have nothing on Southern Woman. I mean how gorgeous are my friends?!) :)

My sister & I...miss her soo much!

The Friday after Christmas, I met up with my goregous group of Bridesmaids and we made a decision on Bridesmaid dresses.I love these ladies.  Of course we had brunch and mimosa after to celebrate!
Saturday, Anthony's best friend/old roommate/Best Man's younger brother got married.  It was great getting to see all of them.  It was such a beautiful winter wedding!

Later on that weekend we got to catch up with more friends.

It was such a great 7 days seeing all of our favorite people.  Moving 2,200 miles away is difficult when you have such an amazing group of friends you are leaving behind.

vegas in november

It's been over a month since I have had the chance to get on here and write.
November flew by..I was sick for a solid week, then I had a work trip to Vegas. I feel like I woke up and now it's December!

November was filled with warm days...like this one spent at Terranea Resort.  This is where my fiance, Anthony, works.  Not a bad office view.

Vegas was fun.  I got to spend time with my favorite Lexington Liberty Mutual co-workers!

We went to see this hott new show called Absinthe! If you are in Vegas anytime soon, I highly recommend it! It was great!  We even saw James Franco at the show, which was super cool.

Another night we headed for the club...We went to Hakkasan at the MGM Grand.  The club is owned by a bunch of DJ's so you can imagine how insane it is....

Some other fun things...

We of course had to stop by the Wynn. I love this place. So grand and goregous! This indoor garden is to die for.

One of the last days we were tired...and ready to get out of Vegas so we took a day trip to the Hoover Dam.  Anthony loves educational things like this.  We all actually had a lot of fun!

Our last night in Vegas Anthony & I had dinner at Nobu.  The Nobu sushi restuarants are some of the best sushi America has to offer...in my opinon.

3 nights in Vegas is my MAX.  I was ready to be back in Sunny California!  Did I mention that it rained the entire time we were there??
