Weekend Wedding- Venue
On June 7th, 2014 Anthony & I will be married at the gorgeous Kentucky mansion, Spindletop Hall.
We have been to one wedding together at the gorgeous palace, and while I was working as an assistant to Angela Anderson Photography, I worked several weddings there.
Since our wedding is soooo far away 450+ days...we haven't made a ton of decisions yet. PLUS my sister is getting married this June, so I have been focused on making sure her day is amazing! I promise I am going to become a better blogger and keep you updated on all our wedding details!!!
Until next time...check out this pic of the amzing Spindletop Hall...

anthony & i first decided on a september wedding, then quickly decided
1.) 9 months is pushing it, to plan your "dream" wedding
2.)we have been together for 4 years, so why rush this
2.)we have been together for 4 years, so why rush this
3.) being EXTREMELY stressed for 9 months sounded terrible.
4.) my sister is getting married this june...so much work to do to help her get ready...
5.) we really don't like the month september...

...the answer was YES!
So I am a little late blogging about this but over the holiday season, Anthony & I got engaged!!!
We were lucky enough to spend Christmas with his family that lives in Palos Verdes, CA. (pics & stories to come in another post). For now, I'll share with you my post from our wedding website (which is still under construction).
How we got engaged...
Anthony & I had our first date at Talon winery in Lexington, KY. I loved that he decided to take me to a vineyard, he knew my love for wine from the beginning.
This past Christmas, we spent the week in California visiting some of his family. We had the opportunity to spend the day in Paos Robles, wine country on the central coast of California.
We spent the afternoon going to vineyard to vineyard having a delicious time. At one of the vineyards, Anthony picked up a bottle of champagne, "in case we needed something to celebrate with." After the fact, I learned that Anthony was waiting for the "perfect moment" to pop the question. After visiting several vineyards, we headed back to the hotel to freshen up for dinner. I knew that something was up, because Anthony was acting very nervous.
We headed to one last vineyard before dinner to watch the sunset. Everyone around town told us about this place, and that we HAD to check it out. Timing could not have been more perfect. It had started raining lightly as we were driving up the windy hill to the vineyard. We get there just in time to watch the sunset. As we go out to the lookout point. Anthony started to cry, I knew at that moment what he was about to do. I started to cry, then he got on one knee (the ring had been in his shoe the whole time). In the words of Anthony, "the question was popped, the answer was yes!!
