a week ago we ventured to california (where anthony has family) and then to las vegas! we had sooo much fun! 

this is right down the street from anthony's aunt's home. gorgeous.

sugar factory in vegas. a must go- whenever you are in vegas! they are open 24 hours a day. we had lunch here and britney spears was actually there that night for dinner. i want to do a whole post on this place because it is absolutely amazing!

november has came & gone....where exactly did it go? i'm not even sure. we were quite busy though.

we got to party at churchill during night racing in the winstar suite (thanks to miss katherine wheeler!)

& i worked...A LOT! which is a good thing, i enjoy my career and being successful. 

i do have some vacay time that i must take before the end of 2011 so anthony & i are headed to california & las vegas next week! soooo very excited!

red velvet cookies- pinterest comes to life!

Pinterest came to life last night when I made these amazzzzzing Red Velvet Cookies! I had planned on making them for Thanksgiving/Christmas and taking them to family/friend parties.  However, today was our Liberty Mutual office Thanksgiving dinner and a perfect opportunity to test out the recipe. I guess they were a hit because everyone gobbled them up! You can find the recipe below!





Red Velvet Cookies with White Chocolate Chips


*1 box of Red Velvet Cake Mix
*1 cup of All-Purpose Flour
*1 egg
*2 sticks of softened butter (YES, 2 sticks) 
*2 cups of white chocolate chips


Mix the above ingredients together is large bowl.  You get Red Velvet Cookie Dough! 
Preheat oven at 350 degrees, bake for 8-10. The batch should yield around 24 small cookies. Yumm!
